Read this before panicking
- The SSD note is a real requirement in spirit — the studio lists it under both tiers. UE5 strategy games stream a lot of assets; a hard drive will load, but it will hurt.
- 16 GB is required, not recommended — 8 GB machines are below minimum.
- The gap between minimum and recommended is one GPU tier — the CPU bar is modest for a 2026 UE5 game.
